Eat the Damn Bread

Owned media · Podcast production · Editorial experimentation

Eat the Damn Bread is an owned media platform built to explore how editorial storytelling, podcasting, social content and real-world experiences can work together as one brand ecosystem. It also serves as a testing ground for the systems, formats and creative ideas Noted Digital brings into client work.

The challenge

Owned media has to do more than publish. It has to build a point of view, create consistency across channels and give audiences a reason to return. The challenge was to develop a brand that could move naturally between podcasting, editorial content, social media and experiential storytelling without losing its voice.

The approach

Noted Digital treated Eat the Damn Bread as both a media brand and a working creative lab. Each long-form conversation or editorial idea was designed with amplification in mind, allowing one central story to travel across podcast, social, email, video and community touchpoints.

The goal was not more content. It was a more connected content system.
